Introduction: Self-Confidence and Success
Everyone loves the bold; no one respects a timid person. To be successful in life you must believe in yourself. You must see yourself as qualified. You must love yourself completely and love what you do. Feel on top of the world doing what you do. It attracts success.
Fulfilment of your glorious destiny requires self-confidence. Your Self-confidence will help you move forward when people doubt you and tell you that you are a nobody or a failure. That is when they tell you that you cant achieve anything. Then your Self-confidence will enable you to tell such enemies that you can make it.
If you feel you don’t have confidence in yourself don’t be discouraged because you are not alone. Many people are not bold and only few people are born bold. Most persons you see, who you view as being confident in themselves were not born that way. They developed it little by little by challenging their fears. In essence Self-confidence can be learnt or developed.
A major (and surest) strategy for improving your Self-confidence is by understanding your points of uniqueness or differences from others. Those things that tell you that you are one of a kind
Your points of uniqueness and difference are as follows:
(a). Your Finger Prints; do you know that no human being has the same finger prints as yours? Scientists say that you will have to search through 24 billion human beings before you can find one person that has your type of fingerprints. At present the world’s population is approximately 8 billion, and is estimated to be around 10 billion in the next 33 years that’s in 2050, and it’s estimated to be 11 billion in the next 77 years that’s in 2100. So let’s say you’re currently 18 years old that means by then you will be 95 years old and you will be probably be preparing for your exit from the world. If you think about this carefully you will readily understand that in your lifetime you will never find anyone with your exact fingerprint.
(b). Your DNA Pattern – do you also know that no human being has the same DNA pattern as yours. You are unique and special. This is the knowledge that is used in the medical field for conducting paternity test to ascertain the father of a baby. It doesn’t lie, it’s unique to an individual.
(c). Your Eye Balls- do you know that you can password devices with your eye balls and no one else can unlock them.
(d). The Way in Which You Were Conceived in Your Mother’s Womb. Scientists said that before you were conceived; when your Dad mated with your Mum and released semen into her. The semen contains about 600 million sperm cells. These sperm cells represents 600 million potential human beings or babies including you released into her but out of these millions only one of the sperm cells would fertilize your mother’s ovum that she releases. And that one sperm cell is the person that is taking or reading this course now. It’s you.
(e). The Shape of Your Ears: do you know that the shape of your ears is said to be very different from those of other people. It’s unique to you alone.
(f). Your Voice: your voice is very different from the voice of other people and you can be differentiated with that too.
Other things which includes: your personality, your desires and interest, your hobbies, choice of clothing, eating habits, pattern of thinking, etc.
