How to Develop or Improve your Self-Confidence PART 2

As I said earlier in part 1, Self-confidence is a major requirement for destiny fulfilment. Without it achieving purpose will be very difficult or impossible.

In this Part 2 we shall be looking at another method for improving Self-confidence Similar to the method discussed in part 1,

This method is about understanding and celebrating Your natural blessings at birth

The Various Gifts or Blessings of the Creator to a person’s life at Birth are as follows:

The gift of life; which is the most important without it we cannot talk about purpose or achieving anything. It's said that 'a living dog is better than a dead lion'

The gift of time; also connected to the first point above; what we do with our time determines what our life becomes

The gift of consciousness: without this we can’t understand situations and ourselves; Man wouldn’t be much better than a beast

The gift of a unique image; we have the image of God our creator. We are very different from animals.

The gift of a unique purpose/mission: our births are not accidental, late Dr. Myles Munroe said God had to use different molds for every one of us he didn't use the same mold for all of us. He would make a mold use it to create or shape one person into being and release the person to be born into the world, thereafter he would make another mold, use it for creating the individual it is made for, release the individual to be born and yet throw away the mold and continue the process from Adam and eve up till our current 8 billion population in the world and till eternity. If God did use the same mold for all of us, we wouldn't have had the differences that we identified under the heading ‘unique things about every human being’. And that’s why we have unique qualities and purpose or destinies

The gift of talent/potential: It’s our primary God given abilities that enables us to fulfil purpose. It’s tied to our loves, passions and dreams. It points us to our life’s purpose. Without it we would lack grace and ease in carrying out our earthly assignment or purpose.

The gift of the mind: The mind is a set of such faculties as the will, imagination, intellect, memory, emotion, intuition, etc. all responsible for mental phenomena). Mind is the overall resource manager of our lives.

Description of the Faculties of the Mind

(I) Will: this is the component of the mind that enables us to choose our own destinies. Without it we end up as nonentities in life. It’s what enables us to take our rightful place in destiny.

(II) Imagination: this is the faculty of the mind we use in shaping up vivid images of our destinies in our minds. It’s the faculty of the mind that is responsible for all forms of discoveries, creativity, innovation and inventions. Napoleon hill in his landmark work titled “think and grow rich” identified that we have two kinds of imagination; (a). The synthetic imagination and (b). The creative imagination. The synthetic imagination uses or combines old knowledge and methods to create new things whereas the creative imagination creates things that are completely new. And that’s the part of the imaginative faculty that Albert Einstein was referring to when he said “imagination is greater than knowledge”

(III)The intellect: is the component of the mind that draws upon the memory and imagination for brilliantly creating new things out of the old or entirely new things and from using or combining old knowledge. It’s used for mental organization, ordering and coordination of ideas and concepts which translates to outwork beauty. It’s the seat of logic of the mind

(IV)The memory: is the component of the mind that enables us to record all the information that reaches our minds through the five senses it enables us to remember things. Without a good memory our lives would be hopeless. The other components of the mind depend on it to function e.g. the intellect and synthetic imagination combine and use old information or knowledge stored in the memory to create new things.

(V) Emotion: the center for feeling things, pains, love, happiness, joy

(VI)Intuition: the component of the mind that provides us with the innate ability to know things without prior information etc.

Some Conclusions You Can possibly Make About Yourself Based on Your Understanding of Your Uniqueness/Differences and Natural Blessings At Birth:

“Wow sure I have worth and value, I’m not worthless. I am full of value”

“Honestly there is a lot more I need to find out about myself”

“Truly, there must be a reason for my uniqueness and existence”

“I’m a great man or woman; God has a fundamental idea in mind for creating me”

“I should therefore be confident based on all these facts about me"
