In Part 3 we looked at advantages of discovering and fulfilling purpose, in this 4th part we will be looking at:

Foundational Requirements for Discovering (Things that assists you in finding out your life’s purpose quickly)

Purpose is a precious treasure. Before we can discover it, we would have to dig or drill deep into ourselves to pull it out. Just as drilling machine or equipment makes the process of exploiting minerals easier so also we have some things that make the journey of discovering purpose easier for us. These things are very basic or key and in fact their absence could make the discovery of purpose impossible. These things helps us exploit our inward greatness and resources. They are discussed under the sub-heading below:

1. Personal Resolution and determination.

The first step is that you would have Resolve or determine that by all means you are going to find out or discover your life’s purpose and that you will commit to fulfilling it since we have identified that our lives’ success wealth, celebration and fulfilment is tied to our personal purpose fulfilment.

2. Occasional but consistent physical or psychological withdrawal from the Crowd around you to Think.

You will have to most times separate yourself physically and psychologically from the crowd and the noise around you to a quiet environment. This is to enable you devote quality time to enormous personal development and self-analysis. Proverbs 18 verse 1(KJV) says through desire a man, haven separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. It is through separating yourself to self-discovery and development that you intentionally and forcefully reveal/release your personal greatness.

A great secret: fix in your mind forever that “you can never amount to much if you don’t always create time for you to be alone to think, visualize, dream, and plan your life, destiny and future”

This activity uses your intelligence and imagination –the greatest nation in the world; the creators of great lives, destinies, technologies and innovations, institutions, companies, communities etc.

3. Improvement of self-image and self-confidence.

You would have to improve or develop your self-image. Increase of self-image is what helps you in cultivating Self-Confidence –a very vital requirement for success in every facet of life. Self-confidence is a non-negotiable requirement for success and functioning in purpose. The self-confidence referred to here is the one that results from accurate knowledge about yourself, your purpose and the general principles of success in life, business, career etc. we have a course on self-confidence development. 4. Understand the need for carrying out personal development and Self-analysis

It is said that learners/readers are leaders. This requirement is about acquiring knowledge and skills to enable a person gain full self-knowledge; understanding talents or strengths, weakness, gaining experience, improving self-confidence, understanding the world around you, learning how to relate harmoniously with the people around you etc.
